Constructed in 1998, 340 Terry Fox is located adjacent to the Marshes Golf Clubhouse providing amenities such as dining and corporate meeting facilities. The Building is constructed utilizing a poured concrete structure and clad with architectural stone, aluminum framed curtain wall, and shaded/reflective low “E” glazing. The main lobby features a two storey atrium and open staircase.
Building design includes barrier free access, one hydraulic elevator with steel doors, and a common loading area with 2 overhead doors and dock leveler. The building is fully sprinklered with an addressable fire alarm system with remote monitoring. The building is equipped with a card access entry system that is monitored and controlled by a central security centre.
The Building is fully air conditioned utilizing packaged roof mounted units with VAV distribution and controlled via a central building automation system. Heating is provided via perimeter radiant heating panels also controlled by the building automation system. Independent auxiliary cooling is available for tenant specific labs and equipment.
