At KRP, sustainability is about action — not intention. Through thoughtful, hands-on initiatives that reduce waste, support community resilience, and improve the way we build and operate, we’re shaping a more responsible future for everyone who works, lives, and plays in our spaces.

Our sustainability efforts

EV CHARGING STATIONS

All KRP properties feature electric vehicle charging stations — making it easier for tenants and visitors to choose clean transportation.

ADAPTIVE REUSE & DONATION

Gently used materials — like doors, appliances, and furniture — are donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStore, supporting affordable housing and reducing landfill waste.

COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP EVENTS

We partner with our tenants for Cleaning the Capital, hosting seasonal events that bring people together to keep our parks green and litter-free.

WATER-CONSCIOUS LANDSCAPING

Our green spaces are maintained using smart landscaping practices that reduce water usage while enhancing curb appeal and biodiversity.

WASTE DIVERSION PROGRAMS

Across our properties, we implement and support waste diversion strategies that keep materials out of landfills and promote circular practices.
