KNBA is excited to bring back summer lunchtime beach volleyball starting the first week of June until the end of August! While we are waiting for the nice summer weather to return, hoping to hear from you to confirm interest if you would like to participate again this year! We plan to follow the same structure as last year, where I will create a weekly schedule and team coordinators can connect with the opponent team to agree upon a good time and location each week. I will recommend that options stay consistent as Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at either noon or 4pm, to avoid some difficulties in scheduling.

If your building has a court, you can use it as your home court. If neither of the teams have a court, we can use the volleyball courts at the City of Ottawa Richcraft Centre on Innovation Drive. There are 3 nice courts, and they can be used on a first-come-first serve basis. There is also one court across the road from Hub350 (350 Legget Drive) that can be booked by any teams. Game coordination and reporting of final scores will be tracked on a shared google sheet that each team coordinator will have access to.

For some basic rules and guidelines, you can share the attachment with your teams/interested participants. The main goal is to get outside and have some laughs. All skill levels are welcome to join! If anyone has any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to get back to me.
