Women in Tech: Ignite & Burn Bright – How to Stand Out and Be Recognized

As women in Tech, we face numerous obstacles that we need to overcome to be successful at what we do.

This event is for anyone who is looking to reinvigorate their careers and reignite the spark they may have lost. Whether that be because of losing your job, or just feeling like you are flying under the radar. We will focus on bringing actionable insights for people to bring to the workplace.

We plan on answering questions like:

• How to bring that spark back, and take care of your mental health at the same time?
• How to find supportive mentors, coaches, and sponsors that help elevate each other?
• What to do once your spark is lit?
• What to do when others try to dim your light (navigating toxic work environments and finding opportunities on the other side)?

We will be hosting a panel discussion with top Technology leaders from Solace and Nokia starting just after 6:00pm and will have Tech workshops hosted by Carleton University for children aged 6-13, should you be interested in bringing your child with you, please indicate this when you sign up for the event to make sure we have space for everyone!
